The summer camps for kids throughout St. Louis, Missouri range from balloon animal camps to indoor inflatable bouncing camps. Children can learn about wildlife around the world or discover the secrets behind magical illusions and card tricks. Many camps are one week long and offer full day and overnight programs for children ages five and up.
Abra-Kid-Abra
Abra-Kid-Abra offers weeklong summer camps for children between five and 14 years of age, such as the magic camp, circus camp, balloon camp, comedy camp and math-amagic camp. The magic camp is for children between the ages of six and 12 and teaches children about card, stage trick and dinner table magic. Campers stage magic comedy skits, learn about illusions and mind reading and perform in a magic show for family and friends at the end of the program. Children receive a magic box full or tricks to bring home with them. In circus camp, children learn to walk on stilts, ride a unicycle, juggle, balance feathers and spinning plates and act out a number of clown skits. Balloon camp teaches children to make 20 different balloon structures. Children also work as a team to build a giant balloon structure throughout the program and participate in a camp-wide water balloon extravaganza.
