Choose a Seat at the Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl: a historic Los Angeles landmark known throughout the world as a place to see the entertainment industry's top performers in a natural outdoor setting. This beautiful venue is a memorable place to see your favorite artist under the starry southern California sky. Read below for tips on choose the best possible seats at the Hollywood Bowl.

1. Choose your event. Hollywood Bowl events run the entire spectrum so no matter if you like rock, hip hop, country, jazz or classical you'll find something to get excited about. Also, check to see if picnic baskets are allowed. Some events don't allow you to bring in food and drink. It would be a shame to have to leave your cooler outside, so it's important to check on this information before you plan your event.
2. Choose your online ticket purchasing method. You may buy seats through the Hollywood Bowl's own website, or you may use one of the many online ticketing agencies.
3. Pull up the seating chart. All ticket websites will have a chart of Hollywood Bowl events and the available seating. There you can see the pricing and locations that fit your price range and where in relation to the stage you want to be. The choices are of course subject to availability.
4. Choose your seats. Once you click on the seats you desire, the site will walk you through the checkout process. There is also a "best available" feature that automatically displays the best seats available at the time. You have to then decide if the best available seats fit your budget.
5. Wait for your tickets to arrive in the mail. Your selected tickets will be mailed to you via the method you choose: express mail, overnight or regular delivery.
6. Another option is to buy your tickets at the box office. Drive to the Hollywood Bowl ticket booth at 2301 North Highland Avenue in Hollywood. If you go in the middle of the day, the lines are short and you will avoid ticket surcharges that you are subject to from online ticketing agencies. At the window they will show you a seating chart and also can give you the "best seats available" option.
7. Check out transportation. No matter how you get your tickets, you'll want to plan get to your chosen event, along with the thousands of other concert goers who will be flocking to the Bowl at the same time. You can drive to the Bowl, but parking is limited so this is not the recommended option. You could take a cab or a limo, or there are also bus shuttles that run from various satellite parking areas around town. Check the Hollywood Bowl website for a map of these locations.
