"Bookworm Adventure" Secrets

The word puzzle PC game "Bookworm Adventure" has many secrets. These secrets can enhance your game play or just make the game more fun. Some of them come from clicking certain buttons or filling in codes, while certain actions launch hidden animations.

Vowel Technique

Separating your vowels and consonants is a useful way to jump start your game. Click on the letters and drag the vowels and consonants to separate halves of the board. Arrange them in alphabetic order to start. If you don't find any words, keep moving the letters around on their half until you find one.

Secret Attack Words

In versus mode, use your letters to spell out the name of the enemy or their attacks to perform a secret attack. Using secret attack words will save your limited attacks for later levels.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Press 1 to use a health potion, 2 for a power-up potion, 3 for a purify potion and 4 or "Enter" to launch attacks. Use these short cuts to speed up your game play.

Lex Animation Tip

After you spell a word or attack your enemy, Lex does a brief animation illustrating your attack. During these animations, your enemy will continue to play and attack. Continue to play to avoid giving the enemy any advantage during these animations.

Secret Character Animations

Click on Lex when you are playing in Adventure or Arena mode. He will begin to laugh, sneeze and burp. You can also click on the enemy profiles pictures in the Tome of Knowledge. This shows off their death animations. Click on the enemy lore pictures to activate their attack animations.

Menu Animations

Typing these passwords at the main menu plays an animation that changes the look of the menu. Type "winter" and snow will fall. Typing "seattle" animates rain and a coffee cup. The code "lovely" animates a group of moving hearts. Finally, turkey feathers will appear if you type the word "gobble." Re-type the codes to turn off the animation.
