If the chicks roam around the yard injuries may occur from loose objects in the chicken pen, pecking, fighting or even from predator attacks. Instructions
1. Apply an antibiotic cream on eye infections, cuts or scratches on the baby chicken.
2. Apply an antibiotic powder for any bacterial infection on a baby chicken.
3. Put styptic powder on a cut where bleeding doesn't stop. Styptic powder contracts blood vessels and helps to stop bleeding.
4. Apply pine tar on wounds to seal them and prevent continued pecking at the wound.
5. Mix unflavored electrolyte powder with water if the baby chicken shows signs of dehydration.
