Though you may think of the Lower City of Shattrath as a pit of refugees, it is in fact a valuable asset, particularly for casters. That, and you need to be their friend if you ever wish to do any of the Auchindown instances on Heroic mode. So how exactly do you gain rep with the Lower City? Read on and find out.
Instructions
1. Find some Arakkoa Feathers. You'll find more than a few of these off the various tribes of Arakkoa in and around Terokkar Forest. When you collect 30 of them, head into the Lower City and look for Vexak in northwestern Shattrath. The quest is repeatable up until you hit Honored.
2. Do some quests. The Lower City has a bunch of quests, mainly centered in Auchindown instances, but also around Auchindown itself, that provide reputation. There are around 30 quests total, which will net you around 8,000 reputation. These quests will provide reputation no matter what your rep level is, so you may want to save them for later.
3. Run the Auchenai Crypts and Sethekk Halls instances. These will get you from Neutral to Honored.
4. Run Heroic mode Auchenai Crypts and Sethekk Halls once you hit Revered and get your Auchindown key. This will take you from Revered to Exalted.
5. Run the Shadow Labryinth. This will take you all the way from Neutral to Exalted.
