Draw Tats

Tattooing is fast becoming a recognized art form and even the Museum of Art in Maryland is currently having a show dedicated to the art of tattooing. Tattoos can make a person feel special and unique as well as a way to pay respect to something or someone they love. Drawing tattoos does not have to be incredibly hard. This article will show you draw a tattoo and apply it to a person in order for it to be inked.

Instructions

Drawing a Tattoo

1. Get a collection of books of artwork-designs you like. For the purpose of the article we will choose Celtic designs and, more specifically, Tribal art.

2. Select a piece of artwork that you like.

3. Lay your transfer over the page in the book.

4. Using a black pencil trace the design.

5. Locate the subject (it can be you-depending where you want the tattoo drawn) and sit them down in a comfortable seat.

6. Trim your artwork with scissors.

7. Wet a towel and wring it out until just damp.

8. Wipe down the area of application and dry it off. Wipe it down again to moisten.

9. Place the transfer paper, design down, over the area and press down firmly.

10. Wait up to one minute then carefully remove the transfer paper.
