Elegant Up-dos
Fashion an elegant up-do for a lavish Mardi Gras celebration. Arrange a chignon at the nape of your neck for a traditional hairstyle, or move the chignon to the right or left a little for a side chignon that looks just as elegant. For medium-length hair, a French curl is a timeless classic, while longer hair can be fashioned into a French twist for a similar style. Wear any of these hairstyles pulled back from your face in a severe style to highlight facial features, or gather the hair loosely and leave strands of hair to frame your face for a soft alternative.
Loose Waves
Show off your natural feminine beauty with loose waves tumbling down your back. If you were not born with those natural waves, you can create them easily with just a little bit of effort. For simple waves with no damage from styling tools, wash and towel dry your hair the evening before the event. Separate the hair into two or three sections and braid each section tightly.
